Urea formaldehyde (UF) foam is Bad
Why do we use insulation such as Urea formaldehyde (UF) foam if its bad for you? Surely it should be banned?

The building regulations stipulate within document D1 that insulating materials which release formaldehyde can be used but only when there is a continuous barrier between the cavity and the habitable space. There are a number of codes of practice and British Standards mentioned which you may want to familiarise yourself with
